I called M1 customer service line in attempt to change my dad's service plan. Conversation went like this:
Me: "Hi, i'd like to make a change of service plan for my father
Operator: ok. May i have your father's details pls?
Me (gave full name and NRIC): I'd like to change to your DIY plan
Operator: Sorry mdm, there wasnt a DIY plan
Me: Yes, you have. It's stated in your website...
Operator: Sorry mdm, i couldnt find it here
Me: You go to your website, go to the service plan site then you stroll down, can see a DIY plan??
Operator: ok mdm, i saw it now! I'll change to DIY plan.
Me (-_-ll): ok. Then can i add on 200 mins of talktime? (btw, DIY plan meaning you can customised your plan and add talktime to the plan)
Operator: erm.. Mdm, i'm afraid you cant add...
Me (-_-lllll): Yes you can. Same website, you stroll down further? Can see?? add 100 mins pay $10.70??
Operator: oh. ya ya!! ok. I'll add for you now. So mdm, can i just confirm with you that your father's plan will be changed to DIY plan with additional 200 mins of talktime?
Me: Yes pls.Thank you.
End of call.... 3 mins later, to my horror, i received a sms saying my plan had been successfully changed to DIY with additional 200mins from tomorrow onwards.
Quickly, i called M1 customer service line again and now, it's another operator picked up the call. So i explained my story and told him that i think the lady must have changed for the wrong person.
Operator B: Sorry mdm, sorry mdm. Am very sorry. Now, can i confirm your dad's particulars with you again?
Me (*sigh): ok. (gave NRIC and full name) So, my original plan will be changed back?
Operator B: Very sorry mdm. I'm afraid my colleague had already did the change for you and i cannot reverse it. I can only change back your plan tomorrow. Which means, your plan will be changed to DIY plan for 1 day tomorrow and will change it back to SunSaver plan the day after.
Me (wth!!): This is your customer service's mistake and it's caused me many inconvenienced and now you're saying my plan will be changed to DIY plan for 1 day?
(*Explanation: My SunSaver plan allows me to call 3 M1 no. for free. And since i call zj daily, it's very impt for me to call him for free...)
Operator B: Very sorry mdm. I really cannot reverse the change. The earliest i could help you change is tomorrow. So, you'll still have to take 1 day of DIY plan.
Me (unbelievable, gave up): ok. nvm then. So, pls help to change my dad's plan
Operator B: ok mdm, i'll need to talk to your father to confirm the change of plan for him. May i know if your father is with you now?
Me: No. He's not with me now. I cannot confirm for him?
Operator B: Nope mdm, because this plan is under your father's name. So i need to speak to him.
Me: ok then. I'll get him to call you later.
Operator B: Thanks mdm. So how do i address you? Mrs See?
Me (*_*lll): Mr See is my father, call me Ms See. Thank you.
OperatorB: oh! sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry....
I thought this whole change hp plan drama is over.. Nvm.. it continues today when i received my bill. For the first time, my bill shot up to >$90. Usually my plan is $30+ one ok... S i quickly call the M1 line again... and explained my story all over again and asked if they'd made a mistake in the billing..
Operator C: I'm really very very very sorry mdm. I think the previous operator forgot to activate back your 3 M1 no for you after changing back your plan. I'm really sorry mdm...
Me (omg.. how can this be happening???): So, can i tell you my 3 numbers now?
Operator C: yes mdm... (then get the no from me, check check check...)
Operator C: Mdm, i'd checked your phone calls for the month of Nov. Your total discount for the 3 M1 no should be $xxx and now your bill reflects a discount of $xxx for you. So i'll credit $50 (the balance) to your account now. I'll also activate your 3 free M1 no now. Upon activation you'll receive an sms confirming the 3 M1 numbers.
Me (sigh sigh sigh...): ok.. Thanks..
Wait wait wait... 30 mins liao... Still havent receive any sms... Call M1 AGAIN. Explain story AGAIN.
Operator D: ok mdm. I'd checked. Your 3 M1 no. had been activated. But you didnt receive any sms notification?
Me: no.
Operator D: ok. I'm sorry mdm. I think the notification failed to sent you. But your 3 M1 no had been activated.
Me: ok.. Thanks..
