Chalet - 22 Dec @ Downtown East

Host a farewell chalet for Hong Kiat on 22 Dec. He's leaving for Melbourne to further study soon. Very long never had so muc fun with this group of buddies already. We all had been busy, busying studying, busying studying, busying going out with girlfriends. Haha... Finally can get together and enjoy company!

Then the guys decided to show off their weekly gym training results... Actually is 3 times a week lor. Eh.. Although Zengjia is my bf, but i still think that he looks kind of... eh... er... you know what i mean.


More show off, then the rest of us happily looking... I told zengjia today, they all 3 got their best parts, Zengjia is arms, Beng is abs, Hong Kiat is chest... But Beng got the tan lah. So his body colour very nice... Then can see the abs shape more clealy.

They say i look damn fierce here. But i think i look funny. Haha..Zengjia also looks fierce mah. We all killed Beng.. Muahaha...

This is the next day already. Daniel came later at night, we all played stupid games like indian poker, zhong ji mi ma, dices and all. And by the time Gerard and Cynthia came, we all drank a lot and sleep le. So they two practically come and sleep only.

Singapore Garden Festival

I know i'd been an irresponsible blogger. Didnt blog for quite some time... Reason? Simply too busy. Really no time to blog lah. Ms Tan Hui Chu kept reminding me that i havent been blogging. So i intend to blog yesterday night. I did tried. But i just cant upload my photos! I always have this problem. Dont know why. My photos just wont appear. So i spent more than 1 hr, trying to upload the photos and to no avail.

So i got very pissed and put up the post regarding my jewellries instead. I wrote that post quite some time ago, just havent put up only. Then today noon, i tried uploading the photos again. Same thing happened. It just wont appear. So i gave up, will put the photos at enshan.fotopic.net instead... pissed....

My family and I went to the Singapore Garden Festival on 17th morning. Not bad, quite interesting. Some flowers are really nice. What happen there is that on Level 6, there is a flower arrangement competition. Or i should say flowers decoration competition. The hall provides the competitors with some space (quite big), and participants will decorate the area with their own theme. Many participants were interior design companies. Trying to marketing their services and take part in the competition at the same time. So visitors like us, vote for our favourite decor and maybe win a car.

On level 4, is the Orchid exhibitions. Thousands of Orchid being exhibit there, which i cannot tell the differences. Level 6 is more interesting. So please go to enshan.fotopic.net to see the photos....

But one thing i die die want to mention here. I almost scolded a mother at the exhibition. All the exhihits cannot be moved, or touched or stepped on one.That is common sense right? We see the exhibits, we do not spoil it. This mother, not only did not stop her 2 kids running up and down the exhibit but still encourage them to stand on it so that she can take photos!

See the kids happily playing? Because of these 2 kids, other kids also come up and play later! And even adults! I stared at them so hard till they paiseh. The rest all left liao, only these 2 kids still happily playing! Didnt catch the mother's face? See below...

Just when i'm walking over to scold the mother, the mother ask her 2 kids to come down and go to another station. WTF....

See the guy in red behind the mother? He's the exhibition helper. All he did is look at the mother helplessly and didnt say a word! Same as 2 other helpers who gathered around later. They just look at the mother, nobody dare to say anything. Wa lau....

My Jewellries!

Yeah!!! I can finally blog about my own productions! Had been waiting to blog about this for so long. Cant blog because i'm giving these as Xmas presents to friends. Remember i say i started jewellery making? Ta-dah!

My present to Mingli. Swavorski crystals ear rings. Basically i made the same design, just different colours for everyone.
This is for Sa Sa (Zengjia's bro's gf) and Zj's sis.. I made same colour for them...
Oh. I didnt make this. Wei Lin made for me for Xmas present. Just showing here... Those interested to purchase this customed made ring, do contact me. Pure Swavorski crytal (think i spelt wrongly), you can choose other colours if you want
This is for Fangmin/Yuqi.... I made one also... Muahaha..
Another ring made by Wei Lin, this one more complicated and bigger. For those who like big and chunky rings can go for this.
Proudly present my own piece! Made this bracelet myself. Modified from a necklace. Coz my wrist very small, so it's always a problem for me to buy bracelets. So decided to make myself one using materials from my sis's discarded jewellries.
Then mix and match a little, i made this pair of ear rings for myself. If i got time and more money, i'll make even more accessories for myself. But currently.. No no... Or somebody like to sponsor?

Xmas's coming!!!

My apologies for no post for so long. Had been really busy and lazy, for a good reason ok? Haha.. I'm busy making Xmas presents! My office is filled with those xmasy atmosphere already... No mood to work! Haha... This time of the year, where everyone goes on holiday and leave, how to got mood to work?

So anyway, some updates from my side... On the 8 Dec 2006, we had our NLB Bowl! It's an annual company event and this of course falls under my portfolio. I'm the organiser! See the bowling king and queen's crown below? Handmade by Wei Lin and myself (Wei Lin did most of the work lah). Nice? Haha.. She suggested making crowns which i think is a good idea. Cute mah.. (for those who find this crown familiar... yes, we copy the burger king crown.)

And our NLB Bowl day is also Wendy's last day with us.... Sob Sob... That explains why she's the limelight of the photo. She kept saying NLB is throwing a big farewell party for her - NLB Bowl. We also made Wendy a scrapbook, each of us decorated a page. Then we realised that everyone is so creative and talented that we all feel that we're professional scrapbook decorator. The book is really sweet, i guess if it's me, when i receive i'll cry also. The cover page is the one on top left hand corner. If you strain your eyes and see, it's Wendy's D&D photo, the havoc side of her. Haha... Then we also made a little crown for her, 3D one ok?
Went KTV @ partyworld after the NLB Bowl, so this is me and Hui Chu at the ktv with me singing most of the time... Muahaha...

Heehee.. Let me show off my Xmas presents!!! Glad that my company got give-xmas-present culture! Muahaha... I love giving and receiving presents!! I mean who dont like to receive presents? Haha.... Hui Chu and I spoil market, we gave everyone their Xmas presents on 12th. Reason? Everyone is going on leave! So we better give early mah... orelse we wont see some of them till next year! Hui Chu and I bought everyone Royce's chocolate. Yes i know chocolates are boring but good chocolates are always welcome right? At least everyone seems happy. Haha...

So... Present 1 - given by WeiLin... A handmade ring! Pink colour one.. Ultra, super, duper sweet and ladylike. But i love it! Really very nice... Too bad the camera cant show it clearly. It's swavorski crystal by the way, so very glittering and elegant...

This is from Hui Chu. She say she bought it long long ago already. Haha.. A Doraemon whiteboard! Cute huh? With doraemon duster, marker and magnets. It's now hanging in my room....

This is from Sandy and Wendy, a tin of Famous Amos cookies. Heehee.. I wonder i like the tin more or the cookies more.

This is from my boss, Chee Bee. A gift set from The Body Shop, containing a mango shower gel, a mango butter and a body scrub. The citrix smell is very refreshing. She say the butter is really very good. Yeah.. I'll try then my skin will be soft soft... Woohoo!!

And... A Xmas present from myself, to me is this box of Royce's chocolate! Champaign chocolate, shiok man... I like the dark chocolate one also... Must try lor! Really very nice. $12.60 a box (20 pcs inside = >$ 0.60/pcs) but very nice lah... Anyway, you can always go to Royce's counter (Suntec city level one) and ask to taste the chocolate. Like trying ice-cream flavours, they'll give you one small piece to try. If no money then just eat the sample can liao.,

Other than these, i also received present from Charissa, which i left it in office to use as decor liao because the precious moment gift box very nice.. Heehee...

And yesterday... I went to trim and dye my hair! Length didnt change that much lah coz i still want to keep the length but very layered now. I dye a very very dark red, which is supposed to look like black under normal light and red under sunlight. But ended up, it became purple. So it's now purplish black. But still nice lah.. Spent so much money that makes me an instant Jeric's Salon VIP member. No photos of my new look yet.

Oh ya, for those who dont know, i only discovered yesterday that Red's Hairdressing now split into Red's and Jeric's. Accordingly to one of the hairdresser there, the brothers fall apart and split their business and Jeric set up his own Jeric's Salon. So the Bugis, Suntec and PS one is Jeric's. The rest are Red's. Now Jeric's Salon is call "Red's Hairdressing, Jerics's Salon' Soon, it'll become Jeric's Salon only. Coz i kpo mah, went to ask the hairdresser why the bugis salon is call Jeric. But then i kpo for the benefit of everybody mah. Find out liao then tell you all lor...

And tomorrow i'm going to the Singapore Garden Festival with my family and zengjia. Hee... I bought tickets for everyone. Bought at half price, hopefully can see some nice flowers! Will try to take photos so that you all can enjoy the flowers also. But, provided that i got charge the camera today...

Couple Bonding Time aka Par Tor

Had a tiring week. Guess it's due to the drawing of the festive season, no mood to work. Plus i didnt get to rest over the last weekend (I went out shopping with Yuqi on Sun for her D & D dress. I feel so proud of myself.. One whole day at Orchard and i didnt buy any clothes!!! Wanted to save money.) Then this week, from Mon afterwork i went Chinatown to get some materials for my Xmas presents. Tue afterwork i got my body sculpting class. Yesterday i met Yuqi and her bf, JinHao for steamboat dinner (which caused me to gain like 2kg of solid meat, those hardcore on your body kind.) Actually, the week had been great but i'm too tired to blog or take photos...

Finally i get to come back home straight after work today. Rest on bed and running my thoughts wild. A question "How many times should a couple meet in a week?" Once? Twice? Daily? I've friends who meet their bf daily and most people meet their better half like 3 times a week? I normally meet Zj once a week. Yes, you didnt see wrongly, once a week.

I like the reaction people get when i told them i meet my bf once a week. They'll be like "What? So little? Wont you two drift? Why?" I cant give them a definite answer. We just work like this. Zj and I both enjoy freedom very much. Freedom as in our own space, time for ourselves. And both of us are homely people. Since we dont share the same home, we dont meet that often.

So on the other hand, i always ask people "Meet everyday, not sian meh?" But it's a stupid quesiton. Of coz not sian. If sian wont meet everyday liao mah.

Some people actually don believe i meet Zj only once a week (ok, sometimes twice lah), they say "Like that sure drift apart one! You better be careful!" Then i'll reply "Ok lah. We'd been like this for 6 yrs le." Then they get stunned and drop jaws. I like this part also.

Perhaps it's because we don meet that often, so we wont get sick of each other? And thats why we can maintain the relationship? I think once upon a time, we did try meeting each other very often, like every other day kind. But very tiring, so we stick back to once a week. Actually, we didnt really set to meet only once a week. I'm more than happy to meet him more. Just that, we seldom initiate to meet each other, other than on Sat. Soon, it became a habit. I get upset sometimes, coz i hope to meet him more often.

But then leh.... All in all, i'm always the one who wants to meet him more i guess. I think a lot of couples are like this ba? My personal opinion is, guys don mind meeting their girls, if she initiates, they do miss them often but doesnt need to meet them. But when girls miss their guys, they NEED them, they want to see them. So is this true?

I asked myself many times before, if i were to choose only once. Meet him once a week or daily. I chose once a week. And i still do.

Sorry that this is a boring blog. Anyway, tomorrow is my company's bowling competition, and i'm actually looking forward to it for some time already. Because i'm the organiser and in-charge of the whole event. So most prob i'll be taking lots of photos. After the bowl, we're all going to KTV because it's Wendy's last day with us. It'll be a farewell party cum celebration for her new job!

Birthday Celebration part 2

Finally, got time to sit down and blog about my birthday! Haha.. Had a very pleasant week. Celebrating my birthday with friends, colleagues and of couse, Zengjia. Received quite a few presents.. All i like one.. Muahaha...

On the 30th morning, i celebrated my birthday with my colleagues. And guess what they gave me? Haha.. A doraemon watch! Cute?? Haha... They all know i love doraemon... So sweet huh? (pic a bit blur... coz i took it using my phone in a rush...)
And also this bouquet of flower. I like sunflowers! Haha... Bright and sunny... Very cheerful. I'm not a rose person... Sunflowers, lilies... are my type.

Haha.. Then donnoe when, Zengjia met up with Huichu (my colleague), a friend whom he personally don know, he only heard me mention her frequently. He passed her a voice recording soft toy (an elephant, and yes, i like elephants..) and ask Huichu to give it to me during our office celebration. Hee... I accidentally deleted his voice message in the soft toy before i can hear it. Haha... I pressed the wrong button. So i didnt get to hear what he say. Haha... What a pity huh? Haha..

So after work (no, i didnt take leave, coz Zj still exam period, no time to celebrate one whole day with me), i met up with Zengjia. eh... We didnt do anything special. He brought me to Sakura, an international buffet restaurant, we had dinner there and the end. Go home. Anyway, i'm not a person very particular about birthdays. So, i'm very happy liao.

On friday, 1 Dec, i met with Mingli for yet another birthday celebration. Haha.. Belated but appreciated. She say want to go Holland V drink and eat. I ok lor. So we take MRT to Bouna Vista and walked like 30 mins to Holland V. Reason? She lost her way. Ok.. I promised her not to scold her but still... 30+mins from Bouna Vista mrt to Holland V is kind of far....

But, i'll forgive her because she'd planned such a nice surprise for me! Just as we're talking (actually it's me talking on and on...) Beng and Hong Kiat came out with a lighted brownie and singing birthday song! Haha.. I'm damn shocked lor. Nearly jumped out of my seat. Haha.. Very happy that they came. We all finished the food and talk and drink and talk and drink somemore.. and eat somemore...


Thank You to Yuqi, Fangmin, Yaozu & William for being the first to help me celebrate birthday! And especially Yuqi, ran the whole Bugis alone just to find the perfect bag for me.

Thank You to Mingli, Beng Leong, Hong Kiat, Daniel, Gerald & Chaowei, especially Hong Kiat and Mingli, who spent time choosing my present, (though mingli say most of the time she's shopping for herself). And of course, thank you beng, for asking your friend to prepare the brownie for me... Hee... For you guys whom didnt come. I accepted your absence with apology.

Thank You to my dearest colleagues, Wei Lin, Ai Jui, Chee Bee, Hui Chu, Ah Lung, Geok Swan, Teresa, Wendy, Sandy. Charissa, Yen Ching & Shermeen for the nice card and wonderful birthday present you'd gotten for me. Especially Wei Lin and Ai Jui, so sweet... still bought the pink colour one.. Hee... And also, Hui Chu, i know she spent a lot of effort making the card for me... Smuak!

Thank You my Boyfriend, Zengjia. For planning the surprise for me (though i messed it up) and for celebrating my birthday even though it's your exam period....

Thank You to my family, Enlin (my sis), Jeffrey (my brother-in-law) & Enlun (my bro) for giving me a very practical and expensive birthday present and card. The card my sis bought very sweet one. It's a happy birthday card, especially for sisters! Haha... Oh, to those who dont know, i'm very close to my sis one... So, i find the card very warm. The message is something like whatever happened, you still have your sister. Which is very true.. Haha... Anyway, they gave me a Shiseido foundation and eye shadow set, which i chose it myself.

Haha.. A very lengthy blog with lots of thank you. This is so far, the most surprised birthday i've ever celebrated. Haha... Smuak Smuak to all of you!

So this ends my birthday finale. I'm officially 22. =) Though i welcome more birthday presents.. =p
