Bintan Trip 2007

It's been a long time since i last blogged. Haha.. Sorry sorry...

Here are the photos took during my new year getaway!! Haha... I know it's a bit late, CNY coming and i'm only posting New Year getaway. Cant blame me lah.. After new year day, i'm busy peparing for my sis's wedding. Haha.. Though it's her wedding, but i also need to be pretty pretty right? So, anyway, I went to Bintan with YQ, her bf, JH and ZJ.

YQ and myself. We're bored as you can see... I cannot remember what we're waiting for but generally, we spent Day 1 waiting. Waiting for ferry, waiting for check in and waiting for transport to our lodge. Wait wait wait...

ZJ helped too. Being a kitchen idiot, i'd decided to take up the photo taking responsibility.
Day 2 - We walk around the main lobby, saw this place quite scenic. As usual, it's waiting and waiting ad waiting for us again. We're waiting for the shuttle bus to go to Pasar Oleh Oleh, their little market.

Tired of walking around liao.. Sit down and take photo better. haha...

Pasar Oleh Oleh!!! We love this place. As least the price is affordable. All other places @ the resort cannot buy one... Basically i think these indonesian think we grow money at our backyard. But i dont even have a backyard to grow money plant!!

On the island, they provide shuttle bus service to Pasar Oleh Oleh, look at the ticket, sounds good right? Unlimited ride for only $6!! Sounds fab right?

Look at the time available. Basically the earliest i can go town is 10.50am and latest i can leave town is 4.30pm. And mind you, once you missed a shuttle bus, you got to wait for another hr... Wait wait wait...

Most of the time we only took a to and fro trip, meaning, $6 for a round trip.. Heart bleeding again.

Thsi is funny. They claimed that this is the biggest retail shop in Bintan. Looks big huh? Haha... But there's nothing inside to buy!!! Check out zj's face and you'll know.

So, we all came home, empty handed. Luckily not empty pocketed. Coz everything is so expensive, ended up we didnt buy anything. Hee...
